Please join us Tuesday, April 2, at noon for our next "lunch from home" for a panel discussion on Power-based harassment and violence.
Some may have seen the news that the College of Southern Nevada hired Ruben Kihuen as its executive director of government affairs. In response, the Nevada Women's Lobby published an opinion in the Nevada Independent, sharing our dismay that the new hire is someone who resigned from congressional office after multiple accusations of sexual harassment. In light of this, our next lunch from home will focus on power-based harassment and violence and the laws we can change to help prevent situations and support victim-survivors. Our panel includes:
Assemblywoman Selena Torres,
Assembly District 3
Amanda Vaskov
Board Member for the Nevada Women's Lobby and Legislative Advocate
Mark Mausert
Reno attorney, specializing in harassment cases
